Ivan Edbrooke {2 year portraits} Photographer in Newark, OH

    Sweet Ivan was every photographer's dream two year old to shoot. He listened SO well and he posed and smiled like a champ. This makes my job 1000x better. These types of two year olds are rare and few and far between. Somehow he must have missed the worst of the terrible twos or he was extremely happy that. Whatever the reason is behind this sweet little boy, I enjoyed shooting and spending time with this Boy.

William's 1st Birthday Cake Smash Session {Newark, Ohio}

   Here is William's 1st birthday cake smash session from January. He did such a great job. I have shot so many children, babies, newborns, etc., already in my few years of business. I hope that when parents walk away from their session that they say, "I love the way she worked with our children". I want to create a lasting impression and relationship with each of my clients and I definitely want them to be my "forever" clients and I can watch their children and family grow through out the years.

Fleming Maternity Session {January 2016} Newark, OH

   Hey Friends! I know it has been a long time since I have put up a blogged post. I had intentions of blogging more and catching up but life is crazy, right? So, since I am already into May and I haven't been able to finish up 2015 shoots I am just starting with 2016. I know that will mean photo sessions towards the end of last year won't get posted but maybe I will do a special post once a month to post some of the best. I don't want to promise to blog everyday or even four times a week. Right now I want to start blogging every Monday and Wednesday or twice a week, depending if I can keep the Monday and Wednesday with my schedule. 
    Here is the adorable Fleming family from January when they were expecting the arrival of baby Elliot. He has since then arrived and I have shot his newborn pictures which will go up in a blog post later. Here are some of the best shots from their session. I hope you enjoy.

Stewart Maternity Session {Dawes Arboretum, Newark, OH}

   Here is Amber and Scott's maternity session that I shot in the fall. They did a fabulous job and were so kind. I will sometimes tell clients to bring along any props they might want to incorporate into their session and Amber brought a special book with them that went into the baby's nursery with the picture. I also like to shoot maternity sessions. I have yet to specialize myself into one or two types of photography and I'm not so sure I will unless it is down the road somewhere. 

    I hope you enjoy looking at Amber and Scott's maternity photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

Reed Family {Newark Ohio Family Photographer}

This adorable family came to me during the winter and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting their adorable little guy's newborn pictures. Newborns can be difficult but Mom and Dad were so patient while we attempted to calm him. I have picked some of the favorites from their session. Aren't they adorable?

Adams Family {Spring Session} Bryn Du Mansion Granville, Ohio

  It's been a long time since I have sat down and wrote a blog post. Life is crazy busy and each day I am amazed at how much my business has gown. I will be updating this blog to catch up on all of my recent sessions so stay tuned for more pictures. For about seven months I worked a part time job, ran my business, and went to school online for a degree in business management. I also recently graduated from the New York Institute of Photography. 
  The biggest, most exciting news I have to share with everyone is that I am officially building a studio in my basement and it is almost completed! I still have some furniture items to pick up but it is coming together quite well! I so enjoy working out of my home and I will enjoy having my office here as well. 
  I love photography. I love to get behind my camera and snap away at adorable, little families. I wanted to FINALLY share this family from a recent spring session. Spring has sprung and winter has vanished, thank goodness. Check out their pictures below!

Hall {Valentine's Mini Sessions-Newark, Ohio} Kissing Booth


I wanted to catch you up-to-date on whats been happening in the studio. For Valentine's Day, I had my handyman/builder (AKA my father :) build me a Kissing Booth for this year's mini sessions. It turned out SO adorable and I am excited to share with you some of the favorites from one of the session. More will come later. Isn't she adorable??







Sophia {1 yr Cake Smash Session}


Cake smash session are so fun to shoot and when your subject is downright gorgeous it makes things a whole lot better! I shot Jamie and her family in the summer-check out their summer session here. Walters Family {2014 Orchard Mini sessions}

This was the first year for me to host fall portrait mini sessions at an Apple Orchard. It was SO cold and windy that day and the sleet didn't help much. But I had the greatest clients ever that stuck it out and showed up for their session even in horrible weather conditions. I am so happy with how these sessions turned out.
