Happy September!!!

I am so excited that Fall is right around the corner. It is my favorite time of year and I am so ready for cool, crisp air. I despise summer weather especially when I am photographing weddings or portrait sessions. It is miserable!

I wanted to share a wedding from last year that I shot in Noblesville, IN. It was a beautiful, calm wedding for Kristen and Nate. I enjoy those days. Sometimes there is way too much drama to make photographing a wedding enjoyable.

New Studio Space, Year 2020, + the Pargeon Family | Granville, Ohio Photographer

New year, new goals.

New year, new resolutions.

Can I get an amen?!

I started the new year out planning for 2020. I love the saying, “Failing to plan is planning to fail!”. This is 100% true. So this year, I made sure I have plans, processes, and procedures in place for my businesses so I don’t loose my mind.

Also with this new year comes…drum roll please… A NEW STUDIO!!!!!

Friends, I am so excited to share this space with you. Since I don’t have all the furniture and decor and everything set up, I haven’t filmed a tour. That is coming hopefully this month. Maybe next.

BUT I did want to share a family portrait session that I did in the new studio. I loved getting to meet Jennifer and her kids. We had so much fun at our session plus I am in love with the quality that I am able to produce in the new studio.

Sydney Walters | Watkins Memorial High School | 2018 High School Senior

I first met Sydney's family FOUR years ago when they came to get their portraits done at an Apple Orchard. I love getting to work with them and the relationship we have is what I cherish most with my clients. 

We met out at Dawes for the first part of her session. It was a gorgeous evening and as you can see the sun was just starting to set so we were able to get some of that "golden hour" lighting. 

Then, we drove to Watkins Memorial High School where Sydney attends school. Now, don't judge me but this was the first time I had been on a football field. I may or may not have had to take my sandals off to feel it. :)

I was able to get some fabulous shots of Sydney!

Will and Stacey Carter | Wedding 2015 {Royal American Links Golf Course + Central College Church}

    Will and Stacey just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary last week and I am so happy they asked me to share their special day one year ago on September 26th, 2015. It was a beautiful occasion. The ceremony was held at Central College Presbyterian Church in Westerville, Ohio and the reception took place at Royal American Links Golf Course in Galena, Ohio. I picked around 30 images to share of their special day. I am wanting to start booking more brides and with the 2017 wedding season coming up, please email me if you want wedding prices.

Drema Barnes {2016 High School Senior} Columbus, OH


Drema is adorable. I shot her senior session back in March along with Alexis Terry's Senior session. You can see pictures from her session at the link. They both did great and we had a good time. I know I have said before and I'll say it again, I love shooting seniors. It is a lot less complicated shooting one person versus three or four. I love a cute family but it is nice to break from that and focus on one individual and implement the different poses and ideas you can come up with. Drema, follow your dreams. You are a special girl and never forget it. I wish you the best.

Fultz Family {Summer 2014}

Webster Family { Summer Session}

 It's been a long time since I have blogged a session! I am SO busy with my photography shoots, working, and going to college lately that I haven't had time for blogging! So now I am trying to catch up!

 Here is a peek at a family session I took over the summer. They were so adorable and Jamie had baby Sophia dressed so cute! I could have shot her all day! Doesn't she have the most gorgeous brown eyes?? Anyways, enjoy this post and I hope to have more up through out the week!

Shaylah Siders {7yr Birthday Pictures}

I shot this beautiful girl on a cloudy day. I thought for sure it would rain but thankfully it held off until we were on our way back to the studio! She is a gorgeous little girl and has gorgeous brown eyes to boot! I always encourage my clients to bring any props that is special to them or their children. Shaylah has a love for stuffed animals so she brought along her big puppy. She also insisted of having Bitty Baby's pictures taken by herself :) Too cute!

Jacob Elkins {4 Months}

Hey Guys! It's been so long since I have posted! I have been SO busy this summer. I shot this little guy July 7th. I thought for sure it was going to raining but thankfully it held off! He did NOT want to smile for me. Every time I'd put the camera away he would break out into a grin! He is such a cutie!

Arnett Family {Spring Portraits}

It's been a while since I'v posted! I have been so busy getting ready for my graduation and a ton of other activities.

I shot this beautiful family on a gorgeous spring day! It started sprinkling and I was so scared we would have to cancel but the cloud rolled back and the sun poked through the cloud much to my happiness! Enjoy!

Phillip and Sharla Sollenberger {Wedding}

 I was thrilled when Sharla asked me to shoot her wedding! To me, someone's wedding day is THE biggest day in their life and I was so honored that Sharla chose me to capture it! I had so much fun that day. The wedding was in Mt.Sterling, OH at the First United Methodist Church on March 8th. It was a gorgeous day and PERFECT for pictures!

Easter Mini's 2014

 Easter Mini's this year were a success! I had so much fun shooting these sessions, nasty bunnies and all! Definitely something I want to do again next year.

  I decided to try Mommy and Me sessions for Mother's day this year. These sessions will be April 28-29th and include a 30 minute session, 11x14, and an online gallery. And the cool part, Mom can bring along ALL her kids. These session make great gifts too! So make sure to head on over to the contact tab and get a hold of me to schedule a session for YOU or a relative in your family that you don't want to admit is hard to buy for!

Adam + Kelly {Wedding}

  When Kelly emailed me and asked me to shoot her wedding I was so excited!! It was like a dream come true! I was thrilled to be apart of her special day and capture every moment!
   Kelly and Adam got married on June 29. We were SO scared that it would rain and we all prayed so hard it wouldn't and thankful it didn't until it was ALL over with and I was driving home!
   Since then me, Kelly, and Adam have became good friends and I got to see them get saved last week at camp! Thanks, Kelly and Adam, SO very much for letting me share this special day with you! It was SO fun and ya'll were great to work with!
